FastGrant by ERA Software Systems, Inc. is a much needed utility to simplify the ever-increasing diversity in grant and contract application processes. Having reviewed FastGrant’s ability to consolidate Grants.gov submissions into a truly web-based utility, centralize standard applicant information (such as addresses, DUNS, EIN, etc.) and massage the various Grants.gov interface solutions into a common look and feel is an enormous help to Principal Investigators. Faculty and staff alike will enjoy using the system from any platform and anywhere in the world without concern for operating system compatibility, document version control, or proprietary software versions. Through FastGrant, ERA Software Systems, Inc. endeavors to offer a confident submission process through Grants.gov and to standardize grant and contract applications to other sponsors as well.

In general, I think GAMS looks fabulous. Once all the university’s grant seekers get the hang of it, I think it will be a great asset and will greatly streamline the grant application process.
